The APEX application can call MindX document services through a configured plug-in without exposing secrets in browser code.
Step 1
Prepare the APEX environment
- Confirm workspace and app.
Use the target workspace and application where the plug-in will be installed and tested.
- Review network access.
Confirm the database or ORDS tier can reach the MindX API endpoint required by the plug-in.
- Prepare credentials.
Use a MindX bearer token or OAuth credentials stored server-side, preferably in an APEX Web Credential.
Step 2
Install and configure
- Import the plug-in SQL.
In APEX Shared Components, import the TechnoMindX plug-in SQL export.
- Review attributes.
Check endpoint, execution mode, template ID, source items, output type, status item, and error handling attributes.
- Map source data.
Provide HTML, JSON, SQL, template data, or page item values expected by the selected endpoint.
Do not place bearer tokens, client secrets, or production credentials in browser-visible page items.
Step 3
Test and promote
- Test with sanitized data.
Run the plug-in in a development page and confirm generated output, status messages, and error handling.
- Check usage logs.
Review MindX usage, credits, and request results after each test.
- Document production settings.
Record plug-in version, endpoint, credential owner, template ID, and rollback plan before promoting.
